Happy Christmas!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday yesterday.  We did something a little different this year and turned our Christmas Feast into a Shrimp Fajita Fiesta!  It was really fun!   Next year we will have a new baby to celebrate with us, (and for many years to come lol!) and so we made our last Christmas of just the two of us with a little twist.

Bake Sweet Memories Giveaway

 Ahhhh.....the holidays are here.  It's a great time of year to blow off your diet, enjoy way to much chocolate and egg nog, and of course partake in holiday baking!  This year I used the Bake Sweet Memories site to get inspiration and yummy recipes.  My favorite was the Easy Grasshopper Bars.  They were oh so delicious and the perfect blend of chocolate and minty goodness!

Easy Grasshopper Bars
(Prep Time 10 Minutes / Total Time 1 Hour / 36 Bars

Ingredients

	Bars
1	pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® double chocolate chunk cookie mix
1/3	cup vegetable oil
2	tablespoons water
1	egg
	Frosting
3	cups powdered sugar
1	package (3 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/4	cup butter, softened
2	tablespoons milk
1/4	teaspoon mint extract
3	to 4 drops green food color
	Glaze
1	oz unsweetened baking chocolate
1	tablespoon butter

Directions

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
2. In large bowl, stir all Bar ingredients until soft dough forms. Press into pan; bake 15 minutes. Cool about 10 minutes.
3. In large bowl, stir all Frosting ingredients until smooth. Spread over bars.
4. In small microwavable bowl, microwave all Glaze ingredients on High 30 seconds; stir until smooth. Drizzle over frosting. Refrigerate 30 minutes or until set. For bars, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in refrigerator.

Lalaloopsy Giveaway Winner!

Yay!  Today I won a Lalaloopsy doll from Jen Spends!   The doll that I won is called Crumbs Sugar Cookie.  Isn't she cute?

She will be the perfect addition to my art studio.  My newly painted walls are a light yellow, and my favorite color is pink, so she will be a wonderful fit.

A Winning Morning!

Good Morning!
I woke up to two winning emails this morning...Is there any better way to wake up? (Well other than a giant 12 ft tall solid milk chocolate bunny at the foot of the bed but that's another story!)

First, I had an email from Muse Reviews letting me know that I was the lucky winner of the Learning Resources Pretend & Play "Rise & Shine Breakfast" Set.  Baby on the way is going to LOVE to get a hold of this....

M&M's by Monet Winner!

Last night I was notified that I was the lucky winner of the M&M's by Monet Prize Pack held by Nicoles Nickels.  I'm super excited because as soon as I saw her giveaway I fell in love with the items.  I love to collect Monet vintage costume jewelry, and their new M&M's line is beyond adorable, isn't it?
