Welcome to July! My favorite thing about summer is the fresh fruits and veggies available from farmers markets as well as from our own back yard. This is my first year of having a few fruits and veggies growing on our property, and I'm very excited! To prepare for my (hopefully) wonderful harvest I am reading The Ball Blue Book Guide to Preserving.
While I have never canned before, I have (I think) everything I need to attempt the task later this summer. Now if my blackberries and tomatoes would just grow faster!
